Playing cards may be all fun and games, but according the Wall Street Journal, cards also help students take turns, follow rules, learn math and memory skills, practice competitive strategies, and face competition in a healthy way. Playing cards is also a easy way to socialize with peers and make new friends. In card club, we will cover most of the traditional card games, starting simply with Kings and Peasants, and working our way to more complicated games such as Heart and Canasta. No card playing experience is necessary! Join Mrs. Bradley in room 20 on Tuesdays.
