The NetZero Club is an environmental club.  Students have the opportunity to take on leadership roles by heading up projects—it’s a chance to make a difference and change the world we live in.  Past projects and activities included planting trees, filming a documentary, visiting a bio-fuel research lab, learning how to compost, hosting a “Get to school green” initiative, speaking before the Boulder City Council about single-use bags and much more.  In the past, the students of the NetZero club led the school community in an energy reduction contest and we were awarded a solar panel array for our efforts.  This year, we are excited to add an indoor, pescaponic gardening system and a small outdoor plot to the club’s endeavors. The club meets during lunch on Wednesdays all year long in room 7 with Mr. Goettsche and Mr. Perkins.  Students are welcome to join anytime.
