Summit Academy School Director

Summit Academy School Director  – Full time, begins ASAP. Position open until filled. Salary based on experience (competitive with school administrator pay).

The School Director works closely with the Principal and Board of Directors of Summit Middle School to plan and implement the development of the new high school, Summit Academy. The School Director is responsible for overseeing facilities development, budget, personnel, project management, leadership, regulatory compliance, community support, fundraising, and promotion of the vision of Summit Academy.

The elements listed below are representative of the knowledge and abilities needed for this position:

  • Innovative and entrepreneurial leadership experience with advanced project management skills

  • Community relations expertise with experience in marketing and communications

  • A wide range of finance and budgeting experience in areas such as property acquisition, construction projects, purchasing, and school budgeting  

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity; skilled at fostering inclusive organizations

  • Strong collaboration, team-based communication, coordination and organizational skills

  • Three the five years of successful, leadership based job experience

  • MA in a related field or comparable experience
