Health Room & Office Assistant, Middle School – Part time, begins August 2019.  
The Health Room responsibilities include tending to sick or injured students according to district and state guidelines, managing health room processes, and maintaining student health records. The assistant consults with the school nurse regarding student health plans. 

The Office Assistant responsibilities include support for tasks related to Alumni, assists business manager with a variety of tasks related to fundraising, assists assistant principal with a variety of tasks related to state testing administration and assists with general office needs. 

Position hours are 7:45 to 12:00 M-F. Wage is $12 per hour. The position is supervised and evaluated by the principal. Children of employees may qualify for enrollment into Summit pending available space. 

The elements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this position:
A college degree 
Experience working directly with students, preferably in an academic setting
Strong skills in collaboration, coordination, technology, and organization
An understanding and passion for working with middle school students 
A dedication to supporting students in academic pursuits
