Assistant Principal - full time

 Dean of Students

Dean of Students - Middle School – Part to Full time, begins August 2018. Position open until filled. Full time work schedule is 210 days. Salary range 62K - 72K (DOE)

The Dean of Students works closely with the Principal and administrative team to uphold and enact the mission of the school.  The Dean is responsible for overseeing student activities and student support services. Focus areas for this position include: student discipline, positive behavior support, restorative justice practices, supervision, student activities, family events, student athletics, community outreach, faculty support, and a variety of other duties as assigned.


The elements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this position:


  • A BA/BS in a related field  

  • MA and/or administrative certificate is a plus

  • Three years of successful, school based job experience

  • Strong collaboration, coordination and organization skills

  • Expertise in student relations and human development

  • Experience with student discipline and/or classroom management practices

  • Strong collaboration, team-based communication, coordination and organizational skills


 Assistant Principal

Assistant Principal - Middle School – Full time, begins July 30, 2018. Position open until filled. Full time work schedule is 210 days. Salary range 62K - 72K (DOE)

The Assistant Principal works closely with the Principal and administrative team to uphold and enact the mission of the school.  The Assistant Principal is responsible for overseeing curriculum, instructional coaching, professional development, coordinating state and local assessment, leading Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and a variety of other duties as assigned.


The elements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this position:


  • A MA in a related field  

  • Administrative certificate is a plus

  • Three years of successful, school based job experience

  • Strong collaboration, coordination and organization skills

  • Expertise in student relations and human development

  • Experience with student discipline and/or classroom management practices
