Study Hall Paraeducator
Study Hall Paraeducator supervises and assists students during their daily
study hall period. Paraeducator meets with students individually and in small
groups to help students utilize their study hall and complete homework.
Responsibilities include: attendance, classroom management, positive
relationships with students, providing encouragement, supporting organizational
systems and work habits, accessing student grades and homework assignments on
Schoology, directing students to academic supports, providing make-up tests,
checking student progress on work assignments and communicating with teachers.
Additionally, the paraeducator may supervise students at other times of the day.
Position hours are 10:40 to 3:15 M-F. Wage is $12 per hour. The teacher is
supervised and evaluated by the principal. Children of employees may qualify
for enrollment into Summit pending available space.

- A college degree
- Experience working directly with students, preferably in an academic setting
- Strong skills in collaboration, coordination, technology, and organization
- An understanding and passion for working with middle school students
- A dedication to supporting students in academic pursuits
