2019-2020 Open Enrollment at Summit
for students entering in August 2020
More information coming soon!
Enrollment at Summit
Summit is a public charter school, not a neighborhood school, which means that students who wish to attend must apply through the BVSD lottery. Living near the school does not give your student an enrollment advantage but living in the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) at the time of open enrollment does give a student preference in the lottery. Other preferences include being the sibling of a current student or graduated student, being the child of a staff or board member. Students from low income families are given priority until 10% of the qualifying entering 6th grade students are enrolled.
How to Enroll at Summit:
Students who would like to enroll at Summit Middle School need to participate in BVSD's Open Enrollment (OE) process. Complete the OE application in the parent portal of Infinite Campus or go to the Open Enrollment link from the BVSD website if your student is currently not enrolled at a BVSD school.

Shadow visits will be offered to those students who receive notification of acceptance from BVSD. Details about shadowing will be included with the notification of admission.
