I’m joining as the new assistant principal at Summit Middle School. Although most recently I was an AP in Denver, I will probably never qualify for a “Native” bumper sticker from anywhere. I’ve lived in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, India, Argentina, California, Texas, and Colorado! My professional experience includes teaching a variety of grade levels and serving as an AP in middle and elementary schools. I value my various opportunities because I’ve seen a lot and I know what I believe about education. Summit pulled me in because of the passion and drive I saw in the students and teachers here. In many ways, Summit reminds me of the exclusive international schools I worked in and attended across the globe. The quality of teaching and educational opportunities are impressive and unmatched in most other public schools. I’m excited to bring my own knowledge, expertise and passion to add to the incredible work already in motion at Summit. In addition to a deep dedication to education and Summit, I’m also an avid reader and runner. You can catch me on the trails with my husband and our dog, Lilly, or stop by to talk books anytime!
