Ms. Michelle L. Laub is a native of Vail, Colorado. After completing an undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon, a post-college AmeriCorps position, travelling throughout western South America, parts of Mexico and Spain, and leading a study abroad trip through Costa Rica, she began teaching Spanish in 2001 at her alma mater high school. Four years later, she transitioned from teaching high school to teaching middle school. In 2009 Ms. Laub earned a Master’s Degree in Integrated Teaching through the Arts. The mission of Summit, specifically creating a community of peers who value scholarship, academic achievement and creativity, drives her passion in teaching.
