CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
Community Liaison, Middle School – Part to Full time, begins March 2023.
The Community Liaison will support and advocate for culturally, racially, linguistically, or socio
economically diverse families to ensure a successful transition to Summit Middle School and ongoing
support during the Summit experience. Responsibilities include: enrollment outreach and support,
translation services, networking with diverse families and professionals in the community, and
student~family school support.

Position hours are 7:30 to 4:00 M-F. Wage is $24 per hour DOE. The position is supervised and evaluated
by the principal. Children of employees may qualify for enrollment into Summit pending available space.
The elements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this
position:
● A college degree
● Experience working directly with students, preferably in an academic setting
● Strong skills in collaboration, coordination, technology, and organization
● An understanding and passion for working with middle school students
● Spanish language abilities
● A dedication to supporting students in academic pursuits
